BAE Batteries:  BAE Batteries, in business since 1899 is a German battery manufacturer with a corporate distribution center in Somerset Wisconsin.  BAE specializes in stationary batteries for substation and telecommunications applications.  BAE also provides battery racks and chargers.  Complete engineering and test documentation is readily available upon request.  BAE warrantees their batteries for complete replacement for five years, warrantees against any leakage for 10 years, and prorates for 20 years.  BAE's battery failure rate is well under .01%

Inertia Engineering and Northwest Utility Sales inc. recently made a trip through Washington and Oregon with Inertia's demo trailer showing their overhead switches, bypass switch, and motor operator to various electric utilities.  The reaction to Inertia's quality and attention to detail was outstanding.

Also don't miss Inertia's regulator bypass safety switch.  This switch employs a wire wound resistor that absorbs energy in the regulator in the event the regulator isn't in the neutral position.  In doing so, the operator is safe from the resulting voltage explosion that can occur if the regulator isn't properly neutralized.
