The new AP-30 Phase identification system is the third generation test set of it's kind and is by far, the easiest and most accurate instrument of it's kind.
Customers using the AP-30 no longer have to buy a reference unit to have a completely functional phaser which saves several thousand dollars. The AP-30 uses a cell phone data connection to the Internet to communicate with the reference unit. This enables the reference unit to handle an infinite number of field units. EDM has a reference unit on line all of the time for customers who have chosen not to have their own reference unit. Additional reference units are available to program in for backup.
The data connection the AP-30 uses is highly tolerant of weak cell signals and can even function in the absence of a cell signal.
No PC connection is needed for setup. The AP-30 is totally self contained.
